Bowfin In the Fall

So where do they go?

I can only recall catching bowfin once in September. It was mid to late September and they were in the maidencaine on Boy Lake West of Remer MN. Got them pitching jigs.

Imagine my surprise when I find an entire website devoted to what most people would consider a trash fish. Kudos to all involved, keep up the good work!
